Back in February I was asked to participate in the March edition of Buzzfeed's Craft Wars series. The challenge was to create something with old credit cards. Of course, my favorite thing to create is jewelry, and while I LOVE upcycling and recycling (and basically anything else Earth-friendly) I didn't want to make jewelry that looked like it was made from credit cards. In theory that seems like a neat idea, but in reality I would never wear it. I'm so happy with my final creation. It's easy to make, pretty, and I don't think it's immediately obvious that the golden squares are actually made from an old insurance and AAA card. You can find the full tutorial here.
